Apple has come up with the first ever update for its Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. So, if you are having a problem with your Lion, grab this opportunity and give this update a try.
There are two packages in the update; namely General client update and Update for MacBook Air and Mac mini 2011 (Client). Both packages address and resolve issues like the system becoming unresponsive when playing a video in Safari and the audio stopping working when using HDMI or optical audio out. With the updates, users will also be able to experience improved reliability of Wi-Fi connections. The issue that prevents transfer of data, settings, and compatible applications to a new Mac running OS X Lion will also be resolved.
Additionally, the update for MacBook Air and Mac mini 2011 (Client) is expected to resolve an issue where MacBook Air may boot up when MagSafe Adapter is attached, an issue causing intermittent display flickering on MacBook Air and one that causes the SD card slot in Mac mini to run at reduced speed with SD and SDHC media.
Available at 79.29 MB and 68.6 MB respectively, the General client update and Update for MacBook Air and Mac mini 2011 (Client) do not include security updates.
